Art DirectorThe 2011 NFL lockout meant DirecTV couldn’t promote Football, its biggest subscription driver. People were speculating about what the players were doing with their newly found free time, so we used two of the leagues biggest stars to create the worst TV show ever: Football Cops. The hilariously awful trailer took over the sports news cycle, keeping DirecTV top of mind and leading to their biggest subscription year ever.
